Despite its formal simplicity, “Essentia” is able to create a completely unexpected lighting effect. The circular shape, so essential and clean, has always been considered as the perfect shape par excellence; but this ray of light that intersects it, breaks it up, creating a disorienting but magnetic effect for our gaze: just like when we find ourselves in front of the Coliseum and we are moved by its majesty and beauty.
